Bangkok Advent School (BS), a family-friendly environment, was established in 2008. BS provides an English Program ( EP) for the students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 and Thai Curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. BS is private owned coeducational institution that offers quality education in a Christian environment which serves the needs of many in and around Bangkok, Thailand. BS is located at 115/112-113 Soi Vibhadi 53 (Sri Chan), Bangkhen, Laksi, Bangkok 10210 Thailand.

Philosophy of Education

Bangkok Advent School seeks to provides a well -rounded Christian education that focuses on academic excellence and the development of strong moral values. The educational philosophy is firmly grounded in the Seventh-day Adventist system of education , the largest Protestant school system in the world.

The philosophy is summarized as follows:

“True education means more than the pursual of certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental and the spiritual powers. The Bible reveals God as the source of all knowledge and wisdom and the the Creator of all life;therefore it is the most important textbook used in the classroom. Through its teachings, students learn that God loves each of them individually and plans only for their best interest.

Viewing each child as a unique creation of God, teachers recognize that students at all levels schooling possess individuality, and encourage the development and use of the specific talents of children to become individuals of principle, qualified for any position in life. Through positive reinforcement, the faculty seeks to assists each student in achieving his/her academic and other potentials.

• School Day
School starts at 8.00 am. All children are required to attend from Monday to Friday except holidays. Every class students finish at 4:00 pm ,and after school activities until 4:30 pm

• Special Events
Bangkok Advent School celebrates its special events by celebrating days in the calendar that share our cultures, food and traditions with the children and families


Daily Report Book is An open daily report book to communicate with your child’s teacher, if necessary, or for your child’s teacher to communicate with you that contains general information and letters 

Parent Teacher Conference (PTC) Come and talk to your child’s teacher. These days are held during Term 1 and Term 3 after you receive your child’s school report card. Consultation times are by appointment and will be arranged by your child’s classroom teacher. 

School Reports Your child’s development will be reported on progress reports at the middle and end of each semester, with full school report written at the end of the year 

Weekly Newsletter We send a weekly newsletter home on Monday. This will inform parents of information, important dates, and upcoming events for the following week. 

BS Records We will track your child’s progress with records that will assess the skills as your child acquires them. This record can be reviewed at parent consultation days.

English Program

The purposes of this initiative of Bangkok Advent School are to support the Education Reform in Thailand and to use English as medium of instruction. The ultimate goal is to improve English proficiency of Thai students.

1. At Pre -Primary (Kindergarten) Level:
The maximum usage of English is 50 percent of the total periods per week

2. At Primary Level:
English is used in selected subjects including English language, Mathematics, Science and Physical Education.
The advantage to the teaching-learning process in terms of the ability to communicate in English as well as the knowledge and understanding of the substance of each subject will be taken into consideration.

3. At Secondary Level:
English is used in all subject, except for Thai language and Social Studies
(only the parts of the curriculum that are related to Thai tradition, Culture and Law.
